Reverse transcription uses a reverse transcriptase to make first-strand cDNA from an RNA template. For gene-expression analysis by two-step RT-qPCR, you also need a separate qPCR mix. Choose 11155 for its premixed primer format, or 11150 when you want to select random, oligo(dT) or gene-specific primers. Both include a gDNA-removal component; compare the kit contents above and use the selected product's instructions for your RNA samples.
