GoldBand Plus 20350 is a ready-to-use three-colour prestained protein ladder with 10 bands from 8 to 180 kDa. Its low-end 8 kDa reference helps distinguish it from the 10–245 and 25–300 kDa options. The manual identifies the 8 kDa band as green and the 72 kDa reference as orange. Use the gel-system-specific band map for approximate sizing.

The pre-stained protein Marker shifts its position in different electrophoresis systems. These shifts are for reference only. Since the dye binds to the protein, it usually moves faster than the original protein in most cases. We have calibrated this with non-pre-stained Markers. For example, the 180KD band from some manufacturers appears at 140KD in the Bis-Tris system, while our 180KD band in the same system actually reaches 175KD. This proves that our shift is smaller.
